I can put my flashlight, my IR flashlight, my red and green lasers, a foregrip and a handstop. The forend is probably thin-walled and lighter than the stock one. Is there a problem with elements and wear on the boltface in a stock gun? There isn't many parts of the gun will fail and break before you even see any issues with the bolt. Does it protect it against elements better and lessens the effect of burning primer on the boltface? It does. Are you anywere near the ceiling? No idea. Does this upgrade increase your ceiling? It does. You will feel the difference when you're a master of load-four and you're already as quick as the equipment allows.
You'll feel the difference while speedloading, using load-two and load-four from competition equipment. I can see they dropped the basic shell carrier for Taran Tactical.
